Too Many Teenagers in my House......

Ok.....so I don't know what to do sometimes when we end up with a house full of TEENAGERS! For the most part it is fine. We have 4 teenage daughters and they tend to attract teenage boys......it is just something I haven't been able to stop....no matter how hard I try.
One night we had equal boys to girls all playing games in our dining room. Noisy....but noisy is good because at least you have an idea of where they are and what they are doing. Suddenly we realized it was QUIET. That was when I got a little worried. The next thing I know one of my daughters walks into the office and says, "Is it ok for all of us to jump off the roof onto the trampoline?" My husband and I look at each other ......horrified......"Ummmmmmm.......NO.....it is not alright!" She says, "Why?" Oh My Gawwwwwwwwsh! Are you kidding me? Do we really look that stupid? Don't answer that......so anyhow as we are sitting there discussing it we hear something on our roof that sounds very similar to Santa's Reindeer clomping around. We bolt outside and see them coming down from the roof.....What in the world? I am freakin' out a little by now.
OK......."I'm checking into a hotel tonight dear....I'll call you in the morning." Alright.....just kidding.......but teenagers are crazy and they make me crazy sometimes.
So tonight we have superfluous teenagers at our house again.....the funny part is.....it is snowing outside really bad and we are sitting here thinking...."These kids are fairly new drivers and they are out driving on a night like this?" Crazy. That is just how bent they were to come see the teenage girls that live in our house. Hormones are in control of those boys.....that's all I have to say..........

I am done with my little rant.
I keep hoping this little infatuation with boys will pass like a bad cold......but I don't think it is going to.....so I guess I just better get over it. I definitely don't want them on my roof though.....unless of course they have elves, reindeer and come bearing gifts......

Blogging Discovery

So......I have been checking out other photographer's sites all over the country and discovered one thing we all seem to have in common..........we don't really blog about photography.....

Well.....some do and give very cool tutorials and other helpful information......but the majority......blog about everything else BUT photography. My blog is my therapy. I sit here for sometimes hours at a time trying to get photos retouched, CDs burned and phone calls and emails sent out and when I come here(to my blog)......I just want to be me. So........here I sit on a Saturday night. I'm actually alone too, which is highly unsual. My husband is usually in the office as well developing software......because he works from home as well.

I truly enjoy ALONE time. With 5 kids, 4 pets and a husband that won't leave long enough for me to miss him.........there is only one word for it.......stressful. *Sigh*

I am writing a screenplay.......I've been writing it for 4 stinking years! Ugh! When will I find some quiet time to finish it? Maybe after 3 of my four teenagers graduate from H.S. ? I also started a book several years ago. I wonder which hard drive I saved it on? I have three. They are all full of photos. I even bought an external hard drive for archiving. I can't even remember what the title of my book was......so......searching for it might be a little difficult. Hmmmmm? Wow. Whatever. hahahaha I think it must have been pretty good too, because my friend told me she wanted to read more.........maybe she remembers the title? Maybe it was......"No Way Out".....just kidding. OMYGawshhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I think my brain is on overload.

I'm still holding out for that vacation. The perfect vacation for me?..........Hmmmmm? A snowed in cabin in the woods with a big fire place, a warm bed, a stocked kitchen and the only way in or out is a snowmobile. I do need electricity though because I plan to finish my book and screenplay on my laptop. Maybe stay there a month with just my dog and nobody else.........

That would be a dream vacation for me. Wow.......I remember when I used to want to go to Hawaii. Yikes.
